Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing in the early years together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. After relocating in the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in the southern part of California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing keep her engaged in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
